Chris has playing drums since his early teens and professionally since 2006. He studied BMus Jazz at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under the guidance of jazz giant Tommy Smith and Scottish drum sensation Alyn Cosker.
His tenure there saw him play with a selection of Jazz phenoms such as Arild Andersen, Randy Brecker, Kurt Elling, Julian Arguilles, Tommy Smith, Mario Caribe, Paul Harrison and more.
This time also saw Chris write, record and release his debut album 'Grounded' with his band 'Connected' - a Jazz/Rock project indulging influences from Chris Potter to Tool and more.
He has also played a variety of regular gigs from weddings, jazz clubs and more - including two gigs at the Scottish Parliament.
He has also recorded records with separate rock bands Hercules Mandarin and Driven By Harness - including writing some of the music and playing in places such as Germany.
